General info: Cindy & I lived in Howell from the time we were married on Sept. 24, 1977 until Sept. of 1986. We moved to Fowlerville where we live and have lived for the past 34 years. We have three sons who are all married, Andy 40, Adam 38, & Aaron 37. We have Eight grandchildren and one more on the way, see below!
After graduation, I went to Cleary College for a semester and then received a draft lottery number — lucky 13! Instead of going into the Army, I enlisted in the USAF where I spent most of my time stateside and a short stint in Guam. After my time in the Air Force, I worked for my Dad in Howell delivering home fuel oil and petroleum products for about 16 years until he sold to a competitor. Cindy & I purchased a party store in Fowlerville and named it Dunny's Party Store (after my Grandma Donovan) which we owned from 1991 until December of 1998. I sold the store and went into the printing business working for FedEx Office. After working there until 2011, I started my own printing company, Dunny's Print & Graphics, which I still have while my wife is still employed. Once Cindy retires, we plan on continuing to enjoy our blessed family and travel wherever life takes us.
Favorite memories from St. Thomas years: My favorite memory of St. Thomas is all of you, my friends. I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed especially my senior year. Spending time with Ted Naylor, Paul Frank, Farzad, Pete DeFord, Pat Busch, and all of you who knew me. Living in Howell at that time, most of you that knew me knew that I worked midnights and I was usually late for class which became quite the expectation for the school staff — ha ha!!
Anything else you’d like to share: The world being what it is today, I thank God for the opportunity to attend and graduate from a Catholic High School. I feel it's because of my faith that God has blessed me with a beautiful & loving wife along with our son's, daughters in-law, and grandkids.
